My work brings together international-school mathematics teaching, academic English instruction, and AI-assisted language course development at the University of British Columbia. Across these settings, I’m interested in how students find the confidence to participate and make learning their own.
I hold a Master of Education from the University of Melbourne and am beginning the Master of Teaching at OISE, University of Toronto. This new chapter builds on my background in mathematics education and my experience supporting multilingual learners.
This is my space to share teaching ideas, reflect on classroom experiences, and explore the questions that keep me learning. I work across English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

Genshin Impact is not just a game to me—it feels like a long immersive novel I can walk into. It reshapes how I think about worldbuilding, narrative structure, and character growth. These reflections quietly influence how I design lessons, create stories, and connect ideas across subjects and interests.

Honkai: Star Rail feels like a journey built on countless choices—boarding, leaving, deciding, and taking responsibility. It makes me reflect on how, in real life and in education, we make decisions amid uncertainty, embrace outcomes, and keep moving forward with curiosity.
These interests often appear in my projects and in the way I teach—they have become “side skills” that support my creative and academic work.
Living in different cities has given me a layered understanding of education systems and learners’ realities.
Outside teaching, I read and write reflections on AI, learning motivation, and international education.
I enjoy working with websites, digital systems, and efficiency tools to make learning design smoother.
I create video edits, subtitles, and visual design for both teaching and personal work.
I experiment with voice, BGM, and sound design to bring more atmosphere into lessons and storytelling.
